Areas Of Practice

Katherine is an Associate of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. practicing in the Jacksonville office. Ms. Brezinski devotes her practice to the defense of employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims and in claims arising out of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.

Prior to joining Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., Ms. Brezinski held a federal clerkship position with Judge Patrick M. Rosenow of the Department of Labor in Covington, Louisiana. During her time in law school, Katherine was invited to intern with International Management Group (IMG) in New York City and the Connecticut Attorney General’s office, Child Protection Department.

Ms. Brezinski graduated in 2014 from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana. While in law school, Katherine was appointed to serve as the Senior Managing Editor of the Sports Lawyers Journal. In addition, Katherine volunteered on behalf of the Entertainment Law Legal Assistance (ELLA) Project, a local non-profit, which works to empower artists in the community in a way that is just and equitable. Katherine also earned a Mediation certification after successfully completing the Alternative Dispute Resolution course.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Brezinski earned her Bachelor of Arts from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. While there, Katherine earned dean’s list honors while also leading the Colby Women’s Tennis Team to four successful seasons on the court. Katherine was selected the Most Improved and subsequently the Most Valuable Player during her time on the team. Since graduating, Katherine still enjoys playing tennis and teaching spin and TRX classes.
