Boyd & Jenerette Welcomes New Associate, Roquelle G. Simmons

Boyd & Jenerette is pleased to welcome Attorney, Roquelle G. Simmons. She joins the firm's Jacksonville office as an Associate. Her practice focuses on the defense of cases involving mass tort, premises liability, products liability, and general negligence claims. Roquelle was officially sworn in on Thursday April 13, 2017 by U.S. District Judge Timothy Corrigan at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse, as shown in the image below.

Ms. Simmons graduated in the top 25% of her class from the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While in law school, she served as the Vice President of the nationally ranked Moot Court Honor Board where she competed in several regional and national competitions winning a national championship, best advocate and best brief awards. Ms. Simmons was also a member of the Mock Trial Team.

During law school Ms. Simmons interned for the federal government and worked as a law clerk for a premier Jacksonville appellate law firm. Outside of work, Ms. Simmons enjoys giving back to the local community through participation with various organizations.
