Boyd & Jenerette congratulates shareholder Mark K. Eckels who on March 11th, completed a marathon in Antarctica. He was one of 100 runners who were completing either a full or half marathon.  The course took the runners through scientific outposts sponsored by various countries including Russia, China and Chile.  With the completion of this marathon, Mark is two shy of completing marathons on all seven continents.

In completing the run, Boyd & Jenerette sponsored a mile, the first mile in fact, by contributing to Oceanites, a non-profit organization that conducts research on penguin activities as well as the impact of tourism in the Antarctic.
