December 8, 2017 by on News

Attorney At Law Magazine has named Kansas R. Gooden to its Top Ten Attorneys Under 40 for a second year in a row.  The selection is based on nominations from peers and is meant to highlight young attorneys who have differentiated themselves from others early in their career.

Ms. Gooden is a Board Certified Appellate Attorney by The Florida Bar and the leader of the firm's appellate practice group. She has extensive experience in all types of state and federal appeals and extraordinary writ proceedings. She also provides trial and litigation support to attorneys across the state, assisting with legal strategy and preserving issues for appeal. She is highly involved in state bar associations and currently serves on the Florida Bar's Appellate Section's Executive Council, the Florida Bar's Appellate Board Certification Committee, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association's Board of Directors and as its Amicus Committee Chair.

Comprehensive Services

Many cases overlap several areas of law. As a full service law firm, we are able to recognize how one legal discipline impacts another. We work as a team on complex issues that require knowledge of a variety of state and federal laws. This multi-disciplinary approach allows clients to receive the large-firm advantage of access to multiple attorneys in a wide scope of practice areas as well as the hands-on customer service offered by a boutique law firm. In addition to civil litigation, employment law, workers’ compensation defense, commercial law, construction law and appeals, our firm also handles professional liability claims.

Our bilingual staff is available to assist with immigration matters, including consular and removal defenses.
