Andrew M. Ruberti (“Bert”) is an associate attorney at the firm’s Savannah office, practicing remotely from St. Simons Island, Georgia. Mr. Ruberti’s practice focuses on the defense of insurance companies and their insureds, ranging from property and casualty claims to professional liability claims. Mr. Ruberti also represents businesses in managing all legal issues, including contract drafting and negotiation, employment-related matters, formation of legal entities, and all aspects of litigation that may arise from such issues.
Mr. Ruberti graduated from the University of Alabama in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Commerce Administration. He then went on to graduate from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and Stetson School of Business and Economics in 2016, receiving a joint J.D./M.B.A. degree. During law school, Mr. Ruberti clerked for the Honorable John J. Ellington of the Georgia Court of Appeals, now a Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court. He was also a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and served on various committees of the Student Bar Association.
Mr. Ruberti is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and Glynn County Bar Association. He also serves as the social chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Glynn County Bar Association. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ruberti practiced at a civil defense firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Ruberti lives on St. Simons Island, Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music, the outdoors of St. Simons, and rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
