Areas Of Practice
Ms. Morgan was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, attended schools in Jacksonville, and obtained her undergraduate degree from Florida State University. After earning her law degree from the University of Florida she returned to Jacksonville where she has practiced law in the community since 1978. Ms. Morgan has handled cases in all areas of civil litigation but for the past 20 years has concentrated her practice on the defense of employers and insurance carriers in workers compensation claims and in claims arising out of the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act. Her practice also includes Jones Act, personal injury and employment law. She is admitted to all local, state and federal courts in Florida.
Ms. Morgan is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. She is a past Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Florida Workers Compensation Joint Underwriting Association. She joined Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. as part of the merger with Cole Stone Stoudemire and Morgan in 2009 and has been featured as a Top Lawyer in the area of Worker’s Compensation in the 904 Magazine. Ms. Morgan is rated AV® by Martindale-Hubbell.
