Ted grew up in Columbus, OH before his family moved to Florida while he was in high school.  Ted likes to think of himself as an adopted “Floridian,” as long as the Buckeyes aren’t playing.  Ted graduated magna cum laude from University of South Florida in 2003 and clerked at a small defense firm based out of Tampa, before deciding to go to law school.  Ted attended Stetson University College of Law where he graduated with honors, being named “Who’s Who Among College and Universities.”  Ted also served as an editor on Stetson’s Law Review and worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Research and Writing Department.

After law school, Ted represented plaintiffs at a law firm located in Palm Harbor, FL where he gained valuable litigation and trial experience at an early stage.  During Ted’s 6^th year practicing, he was recruited to join a large defense firm in Tampa, FL where he spent nearly 9 years continuing to try some of the more complex cases in the firm.  In 2018 and 2020, respectively, Ted achieved the positions of partner and shareholder.

In 2022, Ted received the honor of being recognized with the “Preeminent AV Rating,” by Martindale Hubbell.  This is a distinction only approximately 10% of lawyers receive, which required colleagues to nominate Ted, believing he exhibited the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards.

Ted specializes in defending cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and negligence cases in general.
