Areas Of Practice
William is a native of Miami, Florida and graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, College of Law in 2013. While in law school he was a member of the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta from 2010 to 2013. For the 2012-2013 year he served as president of the organization.
Upon graduation, William spent over 5 years as an Assistant Public Defender in the 4th Judicial Circuit. He practiced in both the Clay County and Duval County offices. During his employment with the Office of the Public Defender, he represented clients in juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony cases. He zealously advocated for clients in multiple jury trials and bench trials.
In addition, he is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association. William served as Treasurer of the Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association from 2014-2015.
Prior to attending law school, he graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. He practiced as a computer programmer for 5 years. In his spare time, William enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys watching football and basketball games. William also enjoys playing basketball.
