Boyd & Jenerette Named a “Significant Project” in Savannah Economic Development Authority Award

Boyd & Jenerette is pleased to have been named as a “Significant Project” for economic development in Savannah during 2019 by Site Selection magazine. Each year, Site Selection magazine’s Mac Conway Award for Excellence in Economic Development recognizes “the top local and regional economic development agencies in the U.S. for their roles in helping to deliver prosperity to their communities.” The Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) was named a 2020 Mac Conway Award winner for its 2019 corporate facility investment projects, and Boyd & Jenerette’s 2019 opening was recognized as a significant project for the year.

Boyd & Jenerette announced an expanded presence in Savannah, Georgia in July 2019, under the leadership of partners J. Patrick Connell and D. Patrick Connell has significant experience representing clients in the real estate development and tourism and hospitality industries and serves as General Counsel for the Tourism Leadership Council. Jay Thaw is actively involved in Savannah and Georgia economic development initiatives and represents numerous companies in transactions and litigation. Andrew M. Ruberti (“Bert”) is an associate attorney at the firm’s Savannah office, practicing remotely from St. Simons Island, Georgia. Bert’s practice focuses on the defense of insurance companies and their insureds, ranging from property and casualty claims to professional liability claims.
