Kate A. Aguiar
Jacksonville Office
Kate Aguiar focuses her practice on auto liability defense, premises liability, general litigation, and insurance defense.
The defense of motor vehicle claims is the largest part of her practice. She handles both first party and third party matters, ranging from minor collisions to more complex accidents involving high value injuries. She also manages auto accidents where one party is alleged to be driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.
She has developed an interest in the legal aspects of traumatic brain injury (TBI) resulting from personal injury claims, including auto accidents and slip / trip and fall matters.
C.J. Gomes
Jacksonville Office
C.J. Gomes focuses primarily on insurance defense litigation, including complex coverage issues, insurer bad faith/extra-contractual liability, and appeals.
Her insurance coverage services include prosecuting or defending declaratory judgment coverage suits, providing coverage opinions, obtaining Examinations Under Oath, and preparing reservation of rights and claim denial letters. She advises insurers on coverage issues involving auto, property, umbrella, commercial general liability, homeowners, disability, employment, and professional malpractice.
Ryan Knight focuses on the representation of general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and design professionals in all areas of construction law and litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Knight worked as staff counsel for a leading insurance company where he represented subcontractors and developers in construction defect litigation, business owners in general and premises liability litigation, and insureds in auto liability defense litigation.

Nadine J. Foehl

Nadine Foehl concentrates her practice on construction law representing general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in construction-related disputes. Ms. Foehl is also experienced in defending claims involving personal injury, products liability, and general negligence.
Ms. Foehl handles construction claims involving defects, breach of contract, negligence, delay and insurance coverage. She is building her construction law experience with a goal of ultimately becoming Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar.
Stephanie M. Masonbrink

Stephanie Masonbrink focuses her practice on auto liability, premises liability, general litigation, and insurance defense.
Her experience in defending motor vehicle claims ranges from low impact collisions to more complex multi-vehicle accidents. She handles first party and third party claims, representing both insureds and insurance carriers, as well as contested liability disputes. She also manages trucking accident claims.
Candace W. Padgett

Candace Padgett practices in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, insurer bad faith, employment litigation defense, director and officer (D&O) liability, condominium and homeowners’ association disputes, and appellate matters.
Candace focuses her practice on appeals and representing private and governmental employers in the defense of claims of violation of civil rights, discrimination, employment torts and contracts, and other employment-related issues. In addition to defending her clients in litigation, Candace often provides guidance and legal advice to employers regarding employment-related issues such as problem prevention, workplace training, adverse employment actions, and developing or revising employee handbooks and policies.
Kimberly J. Woods

Kimberly Woods focuses on auto liability defense, insurance defense and general litigation.
She currently serves as Secretary for the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. She was named as one of the 2019-2020 Leaders in the Law for the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
Kimberly was selected in April as an Academy Fellow for Class VIII of The Florida Bar Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy. Her term covers the 2020-2021 membership year.
