Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. Partner Speaks on Acquiring Distressed Real Estate in Bankruptcy

Neiwirth, head of the Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. practice group which includes Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights, presented to the Alliance of Corporate Real Estate Executives and Specialists (“ACRES”)  on the acquisition of distressed real estate out of bankruptcy.

Mr. Neiwirth handles bankruptcy proceedings and the full range of insolvency matters locally, and throughout the United States, on behalf of foreign liquidators. He has extensive experience in the areas of Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, real estate workouts, debtor-in-possession financing, cash collateral stipulations, bankruptcy litigation and international insolvency proceedings.

Mr. Neiwirth represents a diverse group of clients, including publicly and closely held companies, bankruptcy trustees, official and unofficial creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, as well as investors of assets and distressed companies, claims purchasers, and financial institutions.
