Boyd & Jenerette is proudly sponsored the Victor Marrero Scholarship awarded this year by the WCCP Association at the 2022 Claims Management & Leadership Conference. The WCCP is proud to honor the memory of dear friend, colleague, and fellow Board Member, Victor Marrero, by awarding this year's scholarship in his name. Two recipients were awarded scholarships at this year's conference, Kylie Weiser and Olivia (Liv) Velsor.

Kylie Weiser is a graduate of Pasco County High School and will be attending FSU in the Fall. Throughout her high school career, Kylie exceled in AP, Cambridge A.I.C.E (Advanced International Cambridge Examination), and Dual Enrollment Honor Classes, graduating with a Weighted (District) GPA of 4.70, an Unweighted (State) GPA of 3.90 and SAT scores of 630 in reading/writing and 660 in Math. By receiving her Cambridge/ A.I.C.E Diploma and AA Degree through Dual Enrollment at Pasco Hernando State College, all while attending high school, Kylie will be entering FSU as a Junior.

The Recipient of another Victor Marrero Scholarship is Liv Velsor, whose mother Shay, is an active member of the WCCP Association. Liv is a graduate of Newsome High School and, FSU will be gaining another Nole in the Summer of ‘22. Throughout her high school career, Liv exceled academically in all Honor, and AP classes earning straight A’s throughout her Freshman to Senior year and graduating with a Weighted (District) GPA of 5.8, an Unweighted (State) GPA of 4.0 and SAT scores of 640 in reading/writing and 570 in Math.
