July 16, 2019 by on News

Boyd & Jenerette attorneys Robert E. Schrader, III and Said Sammy Farhat obtained a defense win for their insurance carrier client in an uninsured motorists case in Alachua County, Florida. Prior to trial, Plaintiff rejected the carrier’s tender of the policy limit. Liability was admitted but causation and damages remained disputed for trial. Plaintiff alleged a traumatic brain injury, and asked the jury to award $4,000,000 in damages as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The defense effectively demonstrated that the Plaintiff did not suffer a traumatic brain injury from the subject accident.
