Boyd & Jenerette is pleased to welcome Associate Attorneys Laura A. Roe and James T. "Ted" Bailey, Jr.

Laura A. Roe is an Associate of Boyd & Jenerette P.A. practicing in the St. Petersburg office. She focuses her practice on appeals and general litigation support. She received her J.D. from the University of Florida in 2011 with certificates in International and Intellectual Property Law. Prior to joining the firm, Laura clerked for the Honorable Daniel H. Sleet at Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal.

Mrs. Roe is an active member of the Appellate Court Rules Committee, serving as the Chair of the Record on Appeal subcommittee and Vice Chair of the Original Proceedings subcommittee. She is also the Chief Editor of The Record, a publication of the Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar, and co-chair of the Communications Committee for the Animal Law Section of the Florida Bar.

James T. “Ted” Bailey, Jr. is an Associate of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., practicing in the Jacksonville office. His practice focuses primarily on insurance defense and insurance coverage. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bailey worked for two Jacksonville and one Tampa civil litigation firms, affording him significant and diverse experience in handling matters including: personal injury/automobile accident litigation; medical malpractice; FELA, longshore, and maritime defense; and creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, and collections actions. In addition, Mr. Bailey served as senior in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company, where he handled matters involving real property and title insurance issues; corporate litigation; and professional liability claims.
