Boyd & Jenerette is pleased to welcome Attorneys Rebekah McDaniel and Stephanie McQueen to the firm.

Rebekah McDaniel is an associate in Boyd & Jenerette’s Orlando office. She practices in the firm’s Construction Law Group. Ms. McDaniel handles construction claims involving defects, breach of contract, negligence, delay, and insurance coverage. She is building her construction law experience with aspirations of becoming Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar.

A Florida native, Ms. McDaniel received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctor from Barry University. While in law school, Ms. McDaniel served as a Student Governor for the Young Lawyer’s Division of The Florida Bar. Additionally, she was the recipient of book awards in Advanced Legal Research and Legal Methods. Prior to and during law school, Ms. McDaniel worked as a legal assistant representing insurers in a wide variety of defense actions.

Stephanie McQueen is a partner who works for the firm in Tampa. Ms. McQueen concentrates her practice in the areas of first and third-party bad faith insurance litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and automobile liability defense. She regularly advises insurers regarding their potential extra-contractual liability in the handling of property damage, bodily injury, and uninsured motorist claims. Ms. McQueen has significant jury trial practice, including experience at both the state and federal court levels, during which she defended major insurance carriers against multimillion dollar bad faith and coverage lawsuits.

When she’s not defending insurance companies, Ms. McQueen enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and her dog, Bronson, at the dog beach.
