Jacksonville Bar Turns Once Again to Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. to Fill Leadership Roles

November 1, 2008 by on News

The Jacksonville Bar Association has once again tapped two of Boyd & Jenerette’s attorneys to serve as leaders of its workers’ compensation section for the coming year. Blake Hood, a partner who served as co-chair of the section last year, and Mark Eckels, a shareholder who heads the firm’s own workers’ compensation department, will co-lead the section for another year. They assumed their leadership duties last month. The section is charged with coordinating local bar events that include CLE programs, meetings with area judges and mediators, and social events with members of the section. Work is already under way to plan an upcoming CLE event as well as hosting the Deputy Chief Judge of Compensation Claims. For more information about section activities, contact either Blake Hood or Mark Eckels.
