Boyd & Jenerette shareholder Mark K. Eckels presented at the Florida Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Section’s 32nd Annual Winter Retreat held in Beaver Creek, CO from February 15-18.

Mr. Eckels spoke on the application of the Daubert standard for the admissibility of expert testimony in workers compensation proceedings.  His presentation included a history of the evolution of the standard from Frye to Daubert, to the current F.S. 90.702 rule, recent court decisions, and practice tips for raising the objection as well as responding to the objection.
