Ronald Neiwirth’s Article Featured in ABA International Litigation News

NeiwirthRonald-214x300Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. bankruptcy partner Ron Neiwirth’s article “Dallas Bkptcy Court Refuses to Recognize Mexican Corporate Reorganization Plan” was featured in the  American Bar Association’s Spring 2013 International Litigation Newsletter.

Neiwirth’s article discusses the decision of a U.S. bankruptcy judge in the Northern District of Texas who declined to issue an injunction requested by Vitro, S.A.B. de C.V., a debtor in a Mexican reorganization case. Vitro had filed a Chapter 15 bankruptcy case in Dallas, seeking the assistance of the U.S. courts to enforce a reorganization plan (Concurso), which had been approved in its “foreign main proceeding.”
