James Tracy Wilkenson (“Tracy”) is an experienced defense attorney who has litigated claims in most lines of property and casualty insurance. As a member of the Boyd & Jenerette construction law practice group, Tracy represents owners, contractors, design professionals, developers, and suppliers to resolve construction defect and construction liability matters.

In addition to construction matters, Tracy’s thirty years of practicing law includes substantial experience in auto, premises and product liability including practicing in-house with Safeco Insurance and The Hanover Insurance Group.  As in-house counsel, he was able to learn and appreciate insurance company best practices and procedures relating to claims litigation management. Tracy is well traveled in that he has handled cases in almost every venue in the state.

Prior to moving to Jacksonville, Florida, Tracy and his family lived in Orlando for over 20 years.  Tracy started his career as a Police Officer with the City of Daytona Beach after graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Police Administration.
