Areas Of Practice

Joseph W. Gelli is a partner who works for the firm remotely in Wesley Chapel, Florida.  He is a graduate of Rowan University (B.A., 1996) and Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 2000). He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas S. Smith, Jr., of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Upon expiration of the clerkship in September 2001, Joe relocated to Florida and entered private practice.

Joe joined Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. in 2025. He previously was a partner at an insurance defense firm in Tampa, Florida. Joe’s practice focuses on insurance defense civil litigation in state and federal courts. He has extensive experience in handling all aspects of litigation from inception of suit through trial.
