Nicholas R. Consalvo joined Boyd & Jenerette in May 2023 as an associate with the Appellate Practice division, working remotely from Tampa, Florida.
Nick graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration – Management and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida in 2017.
Nick also attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and graduated in 2020. While in law school, Nick served as an Executive Forum Editor for the Florida Law Review and was a member of Florida Blue Key. He also interned for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
After law school, Nick served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Long, Jr., for the Florida First District Court of Appeal. In that role, Nick gained extensive experience in all manner of state appeals arising from both civil litigation and criminal prosecutions, including challenges to state administrative agency actions, contract disputes, insurance liability disputes, and post-conviction cases.
Prior to joining Boyd & Jenerette, Nick also practiced with a civil litigation firm in Tampa, Florida, handling a range of matters, including litigating claims involving breach of contract, fraud, deceptive and unfair trade practices, trade secrets, and various business torts involving franchise agreements, class action lawsuits, commercial and residential landlord-tenant actions, and construction disputes. In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Nick briefed multiple cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Florida District Courts of Appeal.
Nick is admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida; the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, and Southern District of Florida; and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Outside of work, Nick and his wife, Kylie, enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and their dog, Bentley, and returning to their alma mater to watch Gator football and baseball games.
