Elizabeth B. Ferguson Presenting CLM Webinar Course on Roadway Construction Claims

Boyd & Jenerette’s Partner and Construction Practice Group Leader, Elizabeth B. Ferguson will be presenting a CLM Course on “Roadway Construction Claims – The Complex and Potentially Costly Intersection of Construction and Auto Liability,” as a part of their 2016 Webinar Series on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Jason Anderson of SEA, Ltd. will be joining Elizabeth in presenting the webinar. The course will begin at 12:00 pm EDT and will have a duration of 1 hour.

The course will provide an in-depth overview of roadway construction claims, from pre-suit through to trial. Discussion will include potential claims and defenses, sovereign immunity issues, Maintenance of Traffic (“MOT”) design and maintenance, the role of the Construction Engineer and Inspector (“CEI”), common roadway defects and hazards, human factors, typical damages, and tips for evidence collection/preservation. Applicable case law will be included.
