We are approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services as an education course provider for a full range of insurance continuing education (CEU) seminars. We also offer classes approved by The Florida Bar for continuing legal education (CLE) credits.

Kansas R. Gooden Presenting at the Dade County Bar Association’s Appellate Court Committee’s Fall Seminar

Kansas R. Gooden, a Board Certified Appellate Attorney by The Florida Bar and the firm’s Appellate Practice Group Leader, is presenting at the Dade County Bar Association’s Appellate Court Committee’s Fall Seminar called: “The Do’s and Don’ts of Motions for New Trial based on Closing Argument in the Trial Court and On Appeal.”
The Seminar is on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Third District Court of Appeal. At the Seminar, Kansas will present a mock oral argument as the Appellant’s attorney. The case involves issues of improper closing argument and preservation of error.
