About Women’s History Month
Women’s History Week was first recognized during the week of March 7, 1982 following Congressional action. What started as a week is now celebrated as Women’s History Month every March, beginning in 1995 and continuing in subsequent years with annual presidential proclamations. More information is available at https://womenshistorymonth.gov/, which is hosted by the Library of Congress.
About Boyd & Jenerette P.A.
Boyd & Jenerette is an experienced, forward thinking and diverse civil litigation law firm that represents public and private business organizations as well as insurance companies in litigation and transactional matters.
Founded in 1952, Boyd & Jenerette is now recognized for its credentials and leadership in civil litigation including insurance defense, appeals, construction defect defense, bad faith and coverage matters and workers compensation. While continuing this tradition, the firm is also identified as a leading civil litigation firm in the areas of land use, aviation, real estate, commercial and business law.
The firm’s philosophy is to pursue a favorable resolution for every case, as early as possible and without further litigation. However, if early and favorable resolution is not possible, we will be prepared for trial. Many clients look to Boyd & Jenerette for trial representation after losing confidence in counsel from another law firm originally assigned to a case.
The attorneys at Boyd & Jenerette are not only experienced litigators, but we are trial attorneys. Our partners have significant trial experience. We are skilled in jury trials, bench trials and arbitration. We employ a proven methodology for trial preparation that is efficient and consistent with client expectations and budgetary goals. Moreover, our appellate department provides valuable insight and assistance so that substantive issues are properly preserved for appellate review. It can also handle any matter that may be appealed.
We practice in all state, federal, appellate, and workers’ compensation courts with offices in Florida and Georgia. Other state admissions include Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, as well as the District of Columbia. Our list of representative cases demonstrates favorable outcomes in areas ranging from appellate practice to construction, auto liability, contract disputes, insurance defense, coverage and bad faith, premises liability, products liability, and workers’ compensation.
Boyd & Jenerette has four Florida offices (Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Orlando and St. Petersburg) and one Georgia office in Savannah. Attorneys are also available for consultation in Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Tallahassee. The firm is structured to permit attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and management team members to work from their homes or other remote locations. There are security measures in place to protect all client data. Details at https://www.boydjen.com/.
