Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. Attorneys Lead Local Workers’ Compensation Charity

Shareholder Mark Eckels and Partner Linda Farrell are currently serving as co-chairs of the local chapter of the Friends of 440, a statewide charity set up by workers’ compensation practitioners.  The charity raises money to provide scholarships to children of those individuals who are involved in the Florida workers’ compensation system, either by working in the system or being the recipient of such benefits.  The scholarship fund is centrally maintained but it is the local chapters throughout the state that are charged with raising money for the scholarship fund.  Since […]

Workers’ Compensation Inn of Court Formed and Named in Memory of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. Partner

In August of 2007, the charter on a new American Inn of Court was granted, forming an Inn devoted to workers’ compensation.  The Inn, named in memory of former Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. partner E. The E. Robert Williams Inn of Court held their inaugural banquet on June 6, 2007. The chapter was named after Williams because he “exemplified characteristics synonymous with the highest ethical and professional standards of our field” said President Jake Schickel. Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. attorneys appointed as Co-Chairs of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association

Blake J. Hood and Linda W. Farrell have been appointed by Jacksonville Bar Association President, Caroline Emery, to serve as Co-Chairs of the Workers’ Compensation Section.
