Boyd & Jenerette is pleased to welcome Associate Attorneys Sophia L. Bernard and William L. Donley, III.

William L. Donley, III is a native of Miami, Florida and graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, College of Law in 2013. While in law school he was a member of the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta from 2010 to 2013. For the 2012-2013 year he served as president of the organization.

Upon graduation, William spent over 5 years as an Assistant Public Defender in the 4th Judicial Circuit. He practiced in both the Clay County and Duval County offices. During his employment with the Office of the Public Defender, he represented clients in juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony cases. He zealously advocated for clients in multiple jury trials and bench trials.

Sophia L. Bernard is an Associate of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. practicing in the Jacksonville Office. Her practice focuses on trucking/transportation defense, auto liability, premise liability, general litigation, and insurance defense.

Ms. Bernard began her career in insurance defense where she gained knowledge in handling auto accidents, premise liability, and construction defect cases. Ms. Bernard has mediation and trial experience involving large complex construction cases, auto accidents, premise liability, and small jury trials.
