On Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 The Palm Beach Post came out with an article stating the suspended Boyton Beach Mayor Jose Rodriguez is dropping the defamation suit he filed last year against towing firm operator David Floering. Floering’s attorney, Tom Berger in our Ft. Lauderdale office was quoted saying the dismissal would be “without prejudice,” meaning Rodriguez’ lawyers could refile later. “When all the facts came to light, I believe the plaintiff and his attorney did the right thing and dismissed this action against a private citizen” Berger said.
