Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. Associate, Kansas Gooden has been selected as Vice Chair of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Appellate Section for the 2012-2013 term. The appellate practice section routinely holds dinners and other events for visiting judges from the 1st DCA and the Eleventh Circuit, holds mock oral arguments, and coordinates other events for appellate lawyers and with the appellate courts.

Kansas R. Gooden is an Associate of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. practicing in the Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses primarily on civil appeals, insurance coverage and bad faith/extra-contractual liability litigation. Ms. Gooden was selected by Florida Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in 2011 and 2012. She also is active in First District Appellate Inn of Court which she became a member of in 2011. While in law school, Ms. Gooden interned for the Third District Court of Appeal Chief Judge David Gersten. Additionally, Ms. Gooden played nationally competitive golf and was the Virginia State Girls Golf Champion in 1997 and 1999.
