Appellate Team Secures Another Win in Personal Injury Case

November 15, 2021 by on News

The firm recently prevailed in a personal injury case where the jury found that the Plaintiff did not prove that she was permanently injured.  On appeal, the Plaintiff-Appellant challenged whether the trial court should have instructed the jury on the permanency threshold because the Defendant-Appellee did not present any evidence that he was covered by PIP insurance.  The appellate court rejected the argument and affirmed the judgment.  The appeal was handled by Kansas Gooden and Lara Edelstein.
