What personal trait most aided you in your career?

• My work ethic and drive. At every stage of my life, I have always thrived by outworking the competition and the success I have enjoyed during my career is a testament to my willingness to go the extra mile.

What do you find most rewarding about your practice?

• I find it extremely fulfilling to be able to help clients achieve their goals. Whether it is in the court room, negotiating a contract, or streamlining a client’s business practices, there is nothing more satisfying than knowing I was able to make a real difference in someone’s life.

What drew you to Boyd & Jenerette?

• I was drawn to Boyd & Jenerette because of their reputation and business model. They not only enable their attorneys to represent clients in the best, most efficient way possible, but they are also always looking to stay ahead of the curve, setting legal market trends rather than following them.

Thus far in your career, what are you most proud of accomplishing?

• At this point in my career, I am most proud of becoming board Certified by the Florida Bar in Construction Law. The exam was significantly harder than the Florida Bar, and preparing for the board certification exam has allowed me to tackle a broad range of construction law issues with confidence.

Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?

• I see myself becoming the face of construction law in Florida. During the first ten years of my career, I have had amazing success representing design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, developers, insurers and suppliers related to some of the biggest construction litigation in Florida, and if history is an indicator, the sky is the limit.  

What is your favorite sports team?

• Anything Boston. I was born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts and love the Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox.

What are your hobbies?

• Golf, golf, and more golf. I have enjoyed playing golf across the world in such places as ArrowHead Golf Club in Colorado, Teeth of the Dog in the Dominican Republic, and Troon North Golf Club in Arizona.   If I am on vacation and there is a great golf course nearby, I will find it.

Do you have a hidden talent?

• I am an amazing chef and have a variety of delicious meals in my arsenal. Some of my fan favorites are my crispy salmon, pork loin with a balsamic apple cider reduction, and my famous rosemary roast chicken.
