Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. is pleased to announce that one of its partners, Blake Hood, has become Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation Law by The Florida Bar. Certification is The Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of the competency and experience of attorneys in the 24 areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Mr. Hood is now part of only six percent of all eligible Florida Bar members to be Board Certified and is currently one of only 10 attorneys in Jacksonville to be Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation Law.

As a specialist in Workers’ Compensation, Mr. Hood devotes his practice to the defense of employers and insurance carriers in claims and appeals arising under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Act as well as claims brought under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act throughout the state of Florida.
