Boyd & Jenerette Partner Kathryn M. Oughton testified before the Florida Legislature recently on behalf of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association Legislative Committee.

She testified on a Senate bill which would eliminate the one-way attorney's fees provision and curb assignment of benefits abuse in regard to "assignment of benefits" (AOB) litigation.

Kathryn M. Oughton is a Partner and Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Property Damage Claims practice area. Kathryn’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on the defense of cases involving first party property claims.
