Elizabeth Howard Becomes Barrister in The Chester Bedell Inn of Court

Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. Partner Elizabeth B. Howard has been appointed to be a Barrister in The Chester Bedell Inn of Court, for a three year term 2012-2015. The Chester Bedell American Inn of Court was Florida’s first Inn and the fourteenth in the nation, founded in 1985 in Jacksonville.
American Inns of Court are designed to improve the skills, the professionalism, and the legal ethics with which the bench and the bar perform their functions. As a Barrister, Ms. Howard will assist the Inn of Court in helping lawyers become more effective advocates, with a keener ethical awareness, by providing them with opportunity to learn side-by-side with the most experienced judges and lawyers in their communities.
Ms. Howard is head of our firm’s construction practice group and is BV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating possible for an attorney with less than 10 years of practice. She is active in the American Bar Association, Forum on the Construction Industry; Associated Builders and Contractors; and is on the Board of Governors for the Jacksonville Bar Association. Ms. Howard was voted a Florida Trend Magazine “Up & Comer” in 2008 and 2010 and a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for Construction Litigation 2009-2012.
