Boyd & Jenerette congratulates Kansas R. Gooden on her election to the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society's Board of Directors for a term of two years. The Society's mission is to preserve the Court's historical records; to collect and create further records, in print and electronic media; to commemorate the history and achievements of the Court; and to educate the public about the workings of the Court and the judicial system.

Kansas is the leader of the firm’s Appellate practice group and specializes in appeals and litigation support. She handles all types of civil appeals and extraordinary proceedings in state and federal courts. She earned her Appellate Practice Board Certification in 2015.
