Meredith Hall is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Practice. She joined Boyd & Jenerette as a senior associate in the Appellate Practice Group, practicing remotely from Jacksonville.

Prior to joining the firm, Meredith was a Regional Appellate Counsel for the Florida Department of Children and Families. In that position, she represented the agency in hundreds of appellate proceedings before the District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. In addition to her appellate practice, Meredith provided litigation and trial support to attorneys throughout the state. She was also a regular presenter at the annual statewide Florida Children and Families Summit on recent developments in Florida case and statutory law.

In 2018, Meredith was selected by the Florida Bar president-elect to serve a three-year term on the Florida Appellate Court Rules Committee to consider and create rule proposals and amendments to the Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure.

Before focusing solely on appeals, Meredith was an Assistant Attorney General in the Children’s Legal Services division, handling a high-volume case load from investigation and intake, through trial and post-trial proceedings.
