Payton D. Bramlett recently obtained summary judgment in a side-swipe automobile collision case in Coweta County Superior Court, where plaintiff was represented by counsel.  In her complaint, plaintiff claimed that defendant was negligent in changing lanes in violation of O.C.G.A. § 40-6-123 and that defendant committed battery to the person of the plaintiff in violation of O.C.G.A. § 51-1-13.  Plaintiff also claimed that defendant had been stubbornly litigious in violation of O.C.G.A. § 13-6-11.  Chief Judge John Simpson entered a dispositive order granting defendant's motion for summary judgment on all counts in plaintiff's complaint.
