Boyd & Jenerette is pleased to welcome Attorneys Payton D. Bramlett, Michael V. Hammond and Kelly N-L. Scurry to the firm.

Payton D. Bramlett is an experienced, outcome-oriented attorney in the Savannah office of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance defense, general liability, and personal injury litigation including automobile, trucking, and premises liability. Mr. Bramlett also handles property damage cases including construction defect cases. Throughout his career, Mr. Bramlett has obtained favorable results for clients in both bench and jury trials in some of the most plaintiff-friendly jurisdictions in Georgia.

Mr. Bramlett handles all phases of litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and when possible, resolves cases pre-trial in a cost-effective manner through negotiation, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Bramlett also assists clients in navigating time-limited pre-suit demands and other aspects of pre-suit claims including property damage claims.

Michael V. Hammond is Partner of Boyd & Jenerette practicing in the firm’s Orlando office. His practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on the defense of cases involving first party property claims. Other practice areas include appellate litigation and insurance defense.

Michael began his career litigating insurance defense lawsuits including insurance coverage, premises liability, auto liability and property claims. He has handled numerous appellate cases, including arguments before the Florida Supreme Court. Mr. Hammond also has experience with the litigation of declaratory judgment actions and complex business disputes, including appeals.

Kelly N-L. Scurry is an Associate in the firm’s Jacksonville office, practicing remotely from South Florida. Mr. Scurry’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on the defense of first party property claims.

He has experience litigating premises liability, automotive/personal injury protection litigation, transportation litigation, appeals, coverage issues, fraud, and general liability litigation. He has also represented multiple insurers in personal injury protection matters.
