Kimberly Woods has been actively involved with the Women in Law Committee, which is focused on enhancing the practice of law for women. As a committee member, Kimberly has played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating various events and initiatives that empower women in the legal profession.

Over the past year, the Women in Law Committee has been instrumental in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for female defense attorneys and other members of the FDLA community. The committee's efforts have aimed to address the unique challenges faced by women in the legal field and provide them with valuable resources and networking opportunities.

Throughout the year, the committee organized several impactful events, including an informal roundtable discussion, a webinar on time management, and a thought-provoking session on content creation. These events were designed to facilitate knowledge-sharing, skill development, and meaningful discussions among the participants.

In addition to these activities, the Women in Law Committee actively participated in planning the highly anticipated Southeast Women Litigators Conference. This conference serves as a platform to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women in litigation, while also fostering professional growth and networking opportunities.

Kimberly Woods' dedication, expertise, and commitment to advancing the interests of women in the legal profession have been truly remarkable. About Kimberly J. Woods

Kimberly Woods is a Senior Associate Attorney in Boyd & Jenerette’s Jacksonville office. She practices auto liability defense, insurance defense and general litigation.

Ms. Woods has been recognized in Best Lawyers^® Ones to Watch in America^™Commercial Litigation: 2023 and listed in The National Black Lawyers list of Top 40 Under 40 in 2021. During her time in law school, Ms. Woods was awarded Best Civil Defense Team, Best Cross Examination, and Best Advocate in her Trial Practice class and participated in the 2014 Jessup International Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Woods has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2015 and Jacksonville Bar Association since 2016. She served as the chair for JBA’s Senior Holiday Project from 2017-2020, as well as heading the Law Week Naturalization Ceremony since 2017 and Rendezvous on the Rooftop from 2018 to 2023. She currently serves as the President-Elect and Treasurer for Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and is the Administrative Officer of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association.
